I'd like a message to appear when people click on the link to warn that the form is now closed.

    Hi APMQ,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:

When you disable a form in Jotform, you can set a custom warning message that appears when someone tries to access the form. This message can inform users that the form is now closed.

    Here’s how to do it:

    1. Go to Form Builder and click on Settings at the top.
    2. Open Form Status and select Disabled.
    3. You will see a Warning Message field where you can write your custom message to show when the form is disabled.
    4. Save your changes.

This message will appear to anyone who clicks the form link after it’s disabled.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hello APMQ,

You can display a custom message for a disabled form by setting the Form Status. It's easy to do. Let me walk you through it:

    1. In Form Builder, click Settings from the orange navigation bar at the top.
    2. In the left panel, go to Form Settings, then click the box under Form Status.
    3. In the pop-up window, click the downward arrow icon beside Enabled, then select Disable on Specific Date from the dropdown options. Modify the settings based on your preference and click Save.

The warning message will show whenever someone accesses the form after it’s been disabled.
