I'm trying to set a thumbnail image (like my logo) to appear when I share my form link on social media or messaging apps. I've read that I can do this using the "Form Meta Image" setting under Form Settings, but I can’t see that option in any of my forms.
Please provide me with the instructions.

Hi Lauren,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Jotform does not have a direct "Form Meta Image" setting under Form Settings for setting a thumbnail preview. Instead, you can set a preview image by adding a logo or image to your form that meets social media requirements.
Here’s how to do it:
- Upload your image (like your logo) to the Form Builder by clicking Add Logo at the top of the builder.
- Go to the Publish tab and click Quick Share.
- Select the social media platform where you want to share your form and log in if required.
- Post your form with the preview image you uploaded.
Make sure your image meets the recommended size and format for the social media platform (e.g., Facebook recommends 1200 x 630 px, JPG/PNG format).
If you still see the Jotform logo instead of your image, try clearing your cache and verifying the image size and format.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hello Lauren,
Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you want a logo to appear for your form URL when shared, you can simply add a form logo in the form builder. Let me show you how:
- In the Form Builder, click on + Add your Logo at the top of the form.
- Upload your image or choose image from saved images and select the image you want to use as your thumbnail.
- Adjust the logo (if needed), or you may need to adjust the logo's size or position within the header area. This will be saved automatically. You can now share the form and the image thumbnail should appear accordingly.
Here is the result when shared on Messenger App:
Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
