Hi Todd,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Here’s how to send the form as a PDF attachment in the email after someone approves or denies a request:
- Go to Settings in your Form Builder.
- Click on Emails on the left panel and select the notification or autoresponder email you want to edit by clicking the pencil icon.
- Go to the Advanced tab and enable the PDF attachment option.
- Save your changes.
This will ensure the form is sent as a PDF attachment instead of just the info in the email body.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Todd,
You can add the PDF attachment in the Workflow using the Email element and then connect it to the End button. Let me walk you through the steps:
- Open the Workflow Builder, under the Build section, click on the Add Elements + button.
- Choose Email element. Connect Approval from Barbara to the new Email element.
- Click on the Approval as an outcome.
- Select the Email element and choose Settings blue post icon.
- Click on the Advanced tab in the Email properties.
- Turn the toggle on for the Send PDF submissions.
- Select the New PDF document 1 from the dropdown and click on the SAVE button. That's it.
- Connect the Email element with the END element. That's it.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
