Hello,
Is it normal that when I delete submissions and associated files/attachments, the upload space on the account remains the same?
How do I free up upload space?
Thank you,
Aksel

Hi Aksel,
Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. Take note that when you delete submissions in Jotform, they are first moved to the Trash and remain there for 30 days before being permanently deleted. During this period, the deleted entries still occupy upload space on your account. However, if you need to permanently delete submissions right away, then you will to purge them from the trashed entries section of the Jotform Table. Let me show you how:
1. On your Submissions Table, put checks in the boxes next to the submissions with file attachments.
2. Click on Delete on the top-right side of the page.
3. Click on Move to Trash.
4. Next, click on the Three Dots icon on the right side of the tab name, and then
5. Click on Trashed Entries from the dropdown menu.
6. Now, click on Select All, and then click on Delete Forever.
7. Then, in the Confirmation window that pops up, click on Delete. That's it.
In line with this, I checked the account and the file upload storage space is at 20.49 MB. If you want to automate this process, you can enable the Auto-Delete Form Submissions feature in your Form Builder settings, which will delete submissions automatically after a specified period.
Let us know if you need any other help.
