    Hi admin282_admin_ADMIN,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Are you referring to applying Conditional Logic to your Sign Document to copy values from one field to another? If yes, this feature is currently possible on forms only. As a workaround, you can import your document to Jotform as a Smart PDF Form, as this supports setting up Conditions. Let me walk you through it:

    1. On your My Forms page, click on Create Form on the top-left side of the page

    2. Choose Import Form and then Import PDF Form.

    3. Now, upload your PDF file.

    4. Add the necessary fields and customize them using the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.

Sometimes, the fields that are automatically created in the PDF file will be in the wrong place. If that happens, you'll have to move and resize the fields. Check out the screencast below to see how to do that:

That's it. The final preview will look like the one below:

    1. While in Form Builder, click on Settings in the blue navigation bar at the top part of the page.

    2. Go to Conditions, and select Update/Calculate Field.

The screenshot below shows a sample set of conditions for your reference.

Lastly, if what you're referring to is if one Signature field is filled, the signature should be copied in another Signature field, this isn't doable in Jotform right now. Signatures in Jotform are treated as images, and this functionality to reuse a signature across different fields isn't available. If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Thank you very much for your support and detailed explanations. Regarding using the signature after the file has already been signed - indeed, that is what I wanted, that the signature would appear when clicking on the signature field, continuing from where it was already used.

Regarding using the conditions regarding the fields - I must have the customer see what he is signing, it cannot be just a form that the customer fills out without being able to read the wording and sign in the appropriate place. Is there a solution for this?

    Hi admin282_admin_ADMIN,

I’ll need a bit of time to look into this. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

We appreciate your patience while we work on a solution.

    Hi admin282_admin_ADMIN,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pass the Signature to another field and apply conditions for your submitter using the Sign Document. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
