    Hi Ananiya,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The form can't be transferred but you can clone it in your account. It's allowing you to duplicate the form with a new form URL. Cloning an Existing Form From a URL is easy. Let me walk you through it:

    1. On your My Workspace page, click on Create on the top-left side of the page.

    2. Select Form from the assets, and then click on Import Form.

    3. In the next window, click on From a Web Page

    4. Paste the form link into the Enter URL field and click on Create Form.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

Hi jeric, thank you for your support. The thing is I want to create a qr code scanner form. I have already built the form that sends a unique QR code for each of attendant for my upcoming event, here is the link https://submit.jotform.com/251591368888576 now i want to create a form that scan their qr code read it and record their info. The purpose is to know how many gusts are coming to the event. I have tried many things, but I think I missed on integrating the registration form with the scanner form. Please check my registration form and help me on how can I integrate it with a new scanner form. Thank you

    Hi Ananiya,

Instead of building a separate form, you can create a QR code for the form's edit submission link and include it in the Autoresponder email. When a guest arrives and their QR code is scanned, it opens their submission in edit mode, allowing you to update a field like “Checked In” without needing to pull data from another form.

First, you can add the QR code to the Autoresponder email. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. On the left-hand menu, select Emails.
    3. Then, hover over the Autoresponder Email and click on the Pencil icon to edit it.

    4. Under the Email Content section, click on the Source code button and paste the code.
    5. In the Source Code window, paste the code.
    6. Once you’re done, click Save to apply the changes.

Below is the code that you can copy:

    <img src="https://quickchart.io/chart?cht=qr&amp;chs=150x150&amp;chl=https://www.jotform.com/edit/{id}&amp;choe=UTF-8" alt="Your unique QR code" width="150" height="150" />

Also, to prevent the Autoresponder email from being sent when the form submission is edited, you can disable the "When a submission is edited" option in the Advanced tab.

Next, add a Single Choice field to your form, set it to be hidden by default, and use conditional logic to show it when specific conditions are met. Let me show you how:

    1. While in Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
    2. In the Form Elements menu, under the Basic tab, scroll down and drag and drop the Single Choice field to your form.
Create an event attendance with QR code cross check method Image 3 Screenshot 92
    3. Right-click on the field and select Hide.
Create an event attendance with QR code cross check method Image 4 Screenshot 103
    4. Now, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    5. In the menu that opens on the left side of the page, click on Conditions.
    6. Then, click on Add Condition and then select Show/Hide Field.
Create an event attendance with QR code cross check method Image 5 Screenshot 114
    7. Now, set up the condition like this:

    8. Finally, click on Save to apply the condition.

This way, when you scan the QR code, it will redirect you to edit the submission so you can mark the guest as checked in. Feel free to test or clone my demo form here to see how it was set up. This guide will show you how to do that.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Jotform team, We are an NGO org, and in the coming month we are going to prepare a career fair event that connects both employers and graduates ,and we expect around 1000 submissions. so we are trying to use jotform registration form for collecting graduates information with their CV then that will generate QR code for each submission. On the event date we want to scan each QR codes and track the attendance. Also we want when the QR code is scanned their CV must be shown for the employers rather than they bring a paper CV. so I wanted to know how much it cost as to build a thousand submission form. Also can we get a support to build this 2 forms, the registration and the scanner form from you?

    Hi Ananiya,

Since you're expecting around 1,000 submissions, our Bronze Plan that has 1,000 monthly submissions, 1 GB of upload space would likely suit your needs. You may also want to consider upgrading to a higher plan depending on your file upload size needs.

Jotform also offers nonprofit discounts, which can give you 50% off our standard paid plans. You can apply here.

Feel free to reach out again if you have any questions or if we can help you in any other way.
