I am having a hard time customizing the form I just uploaded. How do I ensure that "For Office Use Only" section cannot be used by the people submitting the form but then comes back to me with those fields enabled to complete it.

    Hi rentonwa,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

To ensure the "For Office Use Only" section is not accessible to form submitters but editable by you afterward, you can set those fields as hidden or disabled in the form builder so users cannot fill them out. After submissions, you can edit those fields directly in Jotform Tables or in the submission view to complete them.

This way, the section remains locked for users but accessible for you to update after submission.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hello Ramneek,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To prevent form submitters from accessing the For Office Use Only section while still allowing you to edit it later, you can mark those fields as hidden or disabled in the form builder. Once the form is submitted, you can fill in those fields manually by editing the submission in Jotform Tables or through the submission detail view. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, go to the field that you want to hide click on the gear icon next to it.

    2. Next, go to the Advanced tab.

    3. Then, toggle ON the Hide Field.
