How to Restore Submissions that were Deleted Accidentally

Unfortunately, when trying to delete a template, I accidently deleted all of our form submissions instead. I recall it telling me that the data would be available for 30 days, but it's not in our trash file. Help, because I don't have it backed up, and I need it for Monday. EEK!

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When you delete form submissions, they go to Trashed Entries and stay there for 30 days before getting permanently deleted. If you deleted them by accident, you can still restore them within that 30-day window. It's really easy to restore your deleted entries in Jotform Tables. Let me show you how:

1. On your Jotform Submissions Table, click on the Three Dots icon in the tab next to your form's name at the upper left side of the page.
2. In the dropdown list, click on Trashed Entries.
3. In the window that comes up on the right side of the page, select the Deleted Submission then, click on the Restore button and that's it.

Don't forget that trashed submissions that are not restored within 30 days will be automatically deleted. You can also check out our guide about How to Restore Deleted Submissions in Jotform Tables for more information.

If you're having trouble restoring them or don’t see them in Trashed Entries, just let us know which forms they were from. We’ll take a look and see what we can do to help recover those entries. We’ll just need access to your account to do that. 1. In the upper-right corner of your My Forms page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image icon.

2. In the small window that opens, click on Settings.

3. In the panel on the left, click on the Security tab.

4. Then, on the bottom-right side of the page, toggle Jotform Support Access to the On position.
