You’ve almost reached your upload space limit

We're constantly getting a message saying we've nearly reached our space limit. Is there a way for us to review our space storage so we can see what's taking up most of the space? We do require pictures on our Application for Assistance form, but we're deleting them out of the table every month. Are we doing that correctly? Or is there something else taking up space?

    Thanks,

    Barb

    Hi Barbara,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

You can review your upload space by checking your submissions and the files attached. Deleting files from the table alone does not free up space immediately because deleted submissions are moved to Trash and remain there for 30 days.

To properly free up space, you need to permanently delete submissions from the Trash:

    1. Go to Jotform Tables and open the Trashed entries tab.
    2. Select the entries you want to remove permanently.
    3. Click Delete Forever to purge them and free up your upload space.

Also, consider enabling Auto-Delete Form Submissions in your form settings to automatically delete old submissions after a set period.

This way, you can manage your storage better and avoid hitting the upload space limit.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Barbara,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To achieve more space, you can easily delete your trashed submissions in Jotform Tables. Let me show you how:

    1. In Jotform Tables, click on the Three Dots icon next to your form title in the tabs.
    2. In the dropdown menu, click on Trashed Entries to open the Trash menu.
    3. Then, in the Trash menu on the right, click on the Checkboxes to select the submissions you want to purge. To select all, click on the Select All button.
    4. Now, click on Delete Forever, and in the warning window, click on the Delete button to confirm.

Purging deleted submissions will free up your Submission Storage and Upload Space but won’t affect other limits. You can also check out our guide about Account Usage and Limits for more information. And, you can purge trashed submission too, here’s how to do it:

    1. On your My Forms page, click on the Trash Can icon on the bottom-left side of the page.

    2. Select the Form tab. Then, hover your mouse over the deleted form and click on Purge located on the right side of the page.

    3. In the popup that appears, click on Delete to confirm the action.
