Do you have a widget that we can overlay on our portal?

I was wondering if Jotform offers a widget that we could overlay onto our existing portal, that users can use to enter information and submit attachments. This would be a "Support" widget with basic fields such as Name, Email, Description, and a place to upload attachments.

    Hi Dirk,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Is your portal a website? If yes, you can embed your form in your website. Let me show you how to embed your form to a web page:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Publish on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. Select Embed from the left side window.
    3. Under Embed, click on the Copy Code button. Can we embed the forms and tables on our website Image 1 Screenshot 40 Screenshot 10

You can also choose other embed codes according to your needs. To learn more, you can check out our guide on Which Form Embed Code Should I Use. If this is not what you're referring to, can you explain more about what you want to happen?

After we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with this.

    Hi Lorevie,
Yes, it's a website, although I'm not sure what platform it's built on. I'd have to consult with my engineering team.
I'm thinking that going with your Pop-up embed option is what we need, but again, I need to make sure that it's possible for users to be able to upload attachments to a Jotform. We also then need that information to flow into Salesforce in the form of a case.
This is what our current widget looks like, and we are trying to replace it with something as similar as possible. This is a widget that lives in Zendesk, and Zendesk provides us HTML that we simply overlay onto our website.

Once clicked, it opens into a "form" of sorts for the user to fill out.

    Hi Dirk,

Regarding your inquiry about overlaying a support widget on your portal website, Jotform does offer a Pop-up embed option that can function similarly to the widget you described. This pop-up form can include basic fields such as Name, Email, Description, and importantly, it supports file uploads for attachments. Additionally, you can integrate Jotform with Salesforce to have the form submissions automatically create cases in Salesforce, which aligns with your workflow needs.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
