Create an app for a tour.

I am confused by Forms. Does each walking tour have a separate form for the whole tour, or would each stop have to have its own form? For instance, I create a cemetery tour with 12 stops where I give the history. Would each stop with information be a separate form? Below is my vision of the product, but I am unsure how many forms I would need to create that. I am unsure if each photo is a page, too. Please read below to see what product I would like to create.

Here is a synopsis of what I am trying to create:

An interested party downloads my tour company's app. On that app they will have many walking tours through the area to choose from. They would click the link, or icon, and then be sent to a page where they pay $1.00 to access the tour. After payment is accepted, the tour would load in, with a map of the area, where several stops would be highlighted by "a pin." When they reach the destination, they click on a pin where, perhaps, a small window pops up allowing them to read about the history and possibly view a photo (that could be optional).

    Hi Nicole,

Regarding your question about how to structure forms for your walking tour app, you generally have two main options. You can create a single form for the whole tour, that covers the entire tour. This form can have multiple pages or sections, each representing a stop with its history and optional photo. Users would navigate through the stops within the same form.

Alternatively, you could create individual forms for each stop. Each form would contain the information and photo for that specific stop. Users would access each form separately, possibly through links or pins on the map.

Since your vision includes a payment step before accessing the tour, you can set up a payment integration on the initial form or landing page, where users pay $1.00. After payment, they can be directed to the tour content.

For the interactive map with pins, this functionality is typically handled outside Jotform itself, such as within your app or website, where each pin could link to the relevant form or section of the form. In summary, if you want a seamless experience with all stops in one place, a multipage form is a good choice. If you prefer modular access or detailed tracking per stop, separate forms might work better.

You can check out our Jotform Solutions Partner Directory for a list of consultants who've asked to be included. Or a Jotform Expert in Fiverr.

You can get in touch with the right Solutions Partner for you by sorting them by location, type of service, industry, language support, or partner tier. Just fill out the contact form for the Jotform partner you'd like to work with, so they can make the necessary preparations to help you.

Keep in mind, though, that these parties operate independently of Jotform, so we assume no responsibility or liability for their work or their actions.
