Enable Draw on Image Element to Appear on Submission PDF

When I am creating a form of mine, i wanted to use the draw on image in the online filling side of form, which works fine, but the draw on image element does not allow the element to transfer to PDF that i am aware of. If at all possible i would like to have this feature added to draw on feature as well as being able to size the drawing to specified area of the PDF. Not sure if i am asking in the correct location.

The whole idea is to fill form out and image so final result is that the drawing is on PDF as well as information pertaining to specific form. in my particular case the image does not change but the drawing will be changing frequently.

Picture provided show draw on image box, but needs ability to put image to PDF when submitted.

Regarding your request about the Draw on Image element and its transfer to PDF, currently, the Draw on Image widget does not support transferring the drawn content directly onto the PDF generated from the form submission. This is because some widgets, including Draw on Image, rely on scripts that are not supported in fillable PDFs.

However, you can customize and resize elements in the PDF Editor to fit your needs, but the drawing itself from the Draw on Image widget will not appear on the PDF. The image used in the widget can be included, but the dynamic drawing changes made by users during form filling are not transferred to the PDF. Let me show you how to do it:

To move the form fields:

1. In PDF Editor, click on a field to select it.
2. Drag and drop it to where you want it to be.

To resize the form fields:

1. In PDF Editor, click on the field you want to resize.
2. On the right corner of the field, click and hold the Square icon.
3. While holding it, move your mouse to resize the field.

While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
