Conditions are not working properly.

please see document Fulfillment Visit Request - Jotform Form Builder where I have 3 times the question of "who will be your escort" which is based on a selection of building

I have 3 rules (one each) that if the value is not "I need an escort assigned" then it should set the selection as the liaison (field #4)

I then have another rule where if any of the has the value of "I need an escort assigned" then it should set the value from the default escort as the liaison

When I select "I need an escort assigned" it doesn't set the default. can you tell why?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When I cloned and tested your form, the same thing happened for me. After investigating it a bit, I found a solution. It's really easy to fix. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click on the Default escort field, then click on the Gear icon to see its Properties.
2. Under the Options tab, scroll and under the Default Value option, select the default value.

Since this field is hidden, you won’t see it while filling out the form. But, once the form is submitted, you’ll notice that jparedes is selected as the default option. Take a look at the screenshot below:
