Site not loading (ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR)

Hi everyone, I’ve been using Jotform to create contact and feedback forms , Today when I opened my site it showed ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR in Chrome when trying to access the forms. I checked my SSL certificate, and everything seems valid on my end. Has anyone else experienced this issue with Jotforms?

Could it be something related to embedded scripts or iframe settings? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Joe,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

The ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR in Chrome when accessing Jotform forms embedded on your site is not a common issue caused by Jotform itself, as all forms are served over secure 256-bit SSL connections. Since your SSL certificate is valid, the issue might be related to your site's embedded scripts or iframe settings, as you suspected.

    Here’s how to troubleshoot:

    1. Clear your browser cache to ensure no old cached data is causing conflicts.
    2. Check your site's SSL configuration and ensure it supports the protocols required by Chrome.
    3. Review your iframe or embed code to make sure it is correctly implemented without conflicting scripts.

If the problem persists, try embedding the form on a different page or site to isolate the issue.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Joe,

The ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR is usually not caused by Jotform, as our forms use secure SSL connections. Since your SSL certificate is valid, the issue is likely related to your system or site settings, such as embedded scripts or iframe configurations.

Glad to hear you found a solution with the guide shared. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask.
