We have a form that is linked on several websites as well as printed material. We have totally recreated the form and would like to use the URL for the existing form so that we don't have to update everything. Is that possible?

    Existing form: https://form.jotform.com/242977331335157

    New Form: https://form.jotform.com/251284222473150

    Hi Ken,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Unfortunately, you cannot reuse the URL of an existing form for a new form. Each form has a unique URL and Form ID that cannot be transferred. To avoid updating links on websites and printed materials, you might consider editing the existing form instead of creating a new one, or setting up a custom URL for easier sharing in the future.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Ken,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, as mentioned by the AI assistant, what you are trying to do is not possible. What I can suggest if you hide the existing form elements on the existing form, then copy the form fields from the new form. You can use the Field Manager integration to easily clone fields from one form to another in Jotform. Let me walk you through it:

    1. Login to your Jotform account and go to the Field Manager page.

    2. Click on Manage Fields and in the window that opens, click on Allow.

    3. Next, click on Open a Form to Begin, select the form whose fields you want to clone, and then click on Continue at the bottom-right of the window.

    4. Then, click on Open a Second Form to Clone Fields and select the target form where the fields will be cloned and click on Continue.

    5. Next, select the fields you want to clone from the first form, and click on the Blue Arrow to clone the fields to the second form.
