I made a form for college dorm students to order their 4 weekend meals each week: Saturday and Sunday Lunch and Dinner. I would like 1 chart or email report that I can send/print for my chef to see how many TOTAL of each of the 10 entrees he needs to make for the weekend (12 burgers, 8 salads, 14 mac & cheese etc)

I tried making additional columns on the submission table for each entree and a formula to tally the number for each submission which is then summed at the bottom of the table- but I can't figure out how to use that information to make a chart or email report.

    Hi Timothy,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. In Jotform Tables, you can use different filters to find specific submissions based on the date, answer selection, and unique information. Let me show you how ton filter submissions using the Date filter:

    1. On your Jotform Tables page, next to the Search bar, click on Filter.
    2. In the window that opens, click on Choose a Field button and select Submission Date or your Date field.
    3. Next, select the date on the next box and click on Apply Filter. How to get a total of each products per week? Image 1 Screenshot 40

From here, you can either use the checkbox on the left and the download button on the top right corner of the page to download the data, or take a screenshot and share it with your chef.

As you can see the related total at the bottom row adjusted accordingly. You can also check out our How to Use Different Filters to Easily Manage Your Data in Jotform Tables guide for more information.

Alternatively, you can also use Jotform Report Builder to generate visual reports that are based on your submission data. Let me show you how:

    1. On your My Forms page, select the form that you want to create a report for.

    2. Click on Reports at the top of the page, and then click on Add New Report.

    3. Now, select Visual Report Builder, which will open Report Builder.

We also have a guide about How to Create a Visual Report with Your Form Submissions that you can check out. Filters can also be applied the same way in Tables, and you can Publish or download the report using the buttons on the top right corner of the page.

You may also create a digest emails that are sent every week that can include your created reports to your recipients. Check out our guide on How to Set Up Digest Emails.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
