Hi,
I'm having trouble syncing my Google Calendar (which is synced to my Simple Practice calendar) to my jot form. I set it up correctly, and my appointment test showed up on my calendar okay. BUT the available times on my form will not recognize the busy events from my Google calendar, so a user could still book a time on the form that is busy on my Google calendar. I tried everything AI agent recommended, including disconnecting and re-integrating, but it's still not blocking any times.

Hi Rebekah,
I understand that although your test appointment appears on your calendar, the form is not blocking busy times from your Google Calendar, allowing users to book those slots.
Here are some detailed steps to ensure your two-way sync is properly set up and working as intended:
- Verify Two-Way Sync Setup: In your form builder, click on the Appointment field, then the Gear icon to open properties. Under the Availability tab, confirm that Google Calendar is selected in the "Sync with Your Calendar" section and that you have authenticated your Google account.
- Select the Correct Calendar: If you have multiple calendars linked to your Google account, make sure you have selected the calendar that contains your busy events. Only busy times from the selected calendar will block availability on your form.
- Check Event Status: Ensure your Google Calendar events are marked as "busy" rather than "free" or private, as only busy events block time slots on your form.
- Re-authenticate and Save: If you have disconnected and re-integrated before, try doing it again, making sure to save all changes in the Appointment field properties after authentication.
- Test with Real Busy Events: Create a busy event on your Google Calendar during a specific time slot and refresh your form to see if that time is blocked from booking.
If these steps are followed correctly, your form should recognize busy times from your Google Calendar and prevent users from booking those slots, avoiding double bookings.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
