Hello,
We have tried several times to connect Paypal to jotform and we follow the prompts and log in to our Business Paypal account and we reach the screen that says "You're ready to accept payment" - but when we click "return to jotform" -- nothing happens.
So then, I exit out of that screen which returns me to the "Connect a paypal account" box in jotform and it says "not connected" and the "save" button is not active.
Can you help us figure out what is not connecting in this process?
Thank you so much for your help. We are super excited to be able to seamlessly integrate paypal with our jotform account.

Hi ILoveTravelCompany,
Can you try to clear your browser's cache to refresh the page, then try again connecting PayPal Business to your form? If the issue persists, I suggest trying in different browsers, such as Firefox, Edge, Safari, or Incognito mode to rule out any browser-related conflicts. It’s easy to Integrate PayPal Business payment gateway with Jotform. Let me walk you through it:
- Open your form in Form Builder and click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
- In the Form Elements menu, click on the Payments tab, and select PayPal Business.
- In the menu on the right side of the page, click on Connect.
- In the window that opens, enter the necessary information and connect your PayPal account with your form.
But if the same thing happens again, can you send me the link to your form so I can take a look at it for you and investigate more on the issue? You can easily find your form's URL in Form Builder. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
- In the Quick Share tab, click on Copy Link in the Share With Link section.
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

Thank you for this. We were not able to add it to an existing form, but we did connect on a new form. Another question -- We have a paypal SUBSCRIPTION -- not just a one time payment..
Does the integration of Jotform to paypal allow us to connect to our paypal subscriptions?
or do we have to create a "HTML button" in jotform that allows us to copy code in from Paypal?
Thank you for your help with this.

Hi ILoveTravelCompany,
If you want to fetch subscription products from your PayPal account with your form, you just need to enable it on your PayPal integration settings. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on the Card icon right next to your Payment field.
- Then, toggle the button for Fetch Subscriptions from PayPal Account to the right to enable it.
That's it. We also have a guide on How to Integrate PayPal with Jotform that you can check out.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
