My AI Agent is not interacting properly

Hi,

I am writing as I am unable to train the Ai Agent to ask the questions that are listed in the Jotform form that is attached to the AI Agent. Every time a user asks to fill out the form through a chat with the AI Agent, the AI doesn't ask the questions in the form it just keeps saying - Please provide a short text for the first item.

Users don't know the question to provide text. Can you advise on how to fix this?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your AI Agent and can see that there are 3 forms connected to it. This means that if a user interacts with your user, the AI Agent can help them in filling out 1, or all of them depending on the conversation's flow.

But, I also didn't see any Actions added yet to the AI Agent. This will help your AI Agent to get ideas or trigger points of the possible questions or responses a user may give it, and what its possible responses would be.

Adding actions also adds personality to your AI Agent, making them more effective and provide a more personalized response to users. It's easy to add one. Let me show you how:

1. In AI Agent Builder, on the blue navigation bar on the top of the page, click on Train.

2. In the menu on the left, go to Actions.

3. Fill out the fields with possible situations your AI Agent may encounter. Once example is filling out forms.

4. Click on Save at the bottom once done.

Note that you may need to create multiple Actions depending on what you expect your AI Agent would get during its interaction with different users. Think of all the possible scenarios or statements/questions your AI Agent may get, and create actions for them as you see fit.

As much as possible, AI Agents need to be trained constantly so it can register possible responses it can get, and make its replies more accurate, informative, and personalized. This is especially important if the AI Agent starts interacting with users, as it will be fed with data it can use to tailor-fit its responses. Let me show you how:

1. In AI Agent Builder, on the blue navigation bar on the top of the page, click on Train.

2. In the menu on the left, go to Teach Your Agent.

3. Start chatting with your AI Agent and ask questions or provide replies as you see fit. You'll see that the AI Agent will try to answer your replies as accurate as possible.

Teaching your AI Agent how to respond will also help you to update it in cases wherein there are things you think the AI Agent is not answering properly, or not giving information, or being inaccurate. So, you can tweak existing Knowledge Base or Actions for it. At the same time, to let you add more to make responses more precise.
