Hi. I need two people to sign a Form (not Jotform Sign, just normal Form).
Parent 1 would complete their part of the form, add Parent 2 email address, sign the form, and Submit.
Then I want Parent 2 to recieve an email to complete their part of the form, sign and Submit. I don't want Parent 2 to be able to edit any answers from Parent 1.
Is this possible — And if yes, how would I do this?

Hi Nesh,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Yes, it is possible to have two people complete a normal Jotform form sequentially. You can set up a workflow where Parent 1 fills out their part, adds Parent 2's email, signs, and submits the form. Then, Parent 2 receives an email invitation to complete their part without being able to edit Parent 1's answers.
Here’s how to do it:
- Use Jotform Workflows: Add a follow-up form element to your flow for Parent 2's part.
- Assign the follow-up form: Set Parent 2's email dynamically from Parent 1's submission.
- Enable Prefill: Pass Parent 1's answers to the follow-up form but lock those fields so Parent 2 cannot edit them.
- Customize the invitation email: Edit the email sent to Parent 2 with a link to complete their part.
This setup ensures Parent 2 only fills their section and submits without changing Parent 1's inputs.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Nesh,
It is possible to have a multiple user to fill out your form. First, you will need to add a Get Form Page URL widget to your form that will trigger the edit link in your Autoresponder Email to disable the field filled out by the Parent 1 once the Parent 2 access the form. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on the +Add Element button at the upper left side of the panel to open the Form Element menu.
- Go to the Widget tab, search for the Get Form Page URL widget and add it to your form.
- Click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar and select the Conditions tab on the left side menu.
- In the New Conditions menu, select the Enable/Require/Mask Field option.
- Then, set up the condition below and click on the Save button.
Now, you will need to hide the field for the parent 2. Let me show you how:
- Select all the Fields that the Parent 2 will fill out and hover your mouse over to the upper right side of the panel and select the Hide button.
- Click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar and select the Emails tab on the left side menu.
- Hover your mouse over to the +Add Email button and select the Autoresponder Email.
- Under the Email Content, click on the Insert or Edit Link icon in the navigation bar and add this in the URL Input box.
- Then, add the Edit Submission as Text to Display, click on the Ok button, go to the Recipient tab and select the Parent 2 email address as a Recipient Email.
