Currently, the collapsible sections work fine.. However, the expand and collapse transition is very rigid. Is it possible to make it more smoothly?

Hi stormingrobots,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Currently, Jotform's Section Collapse element does not have built-in options to customize the smoothness of the expand and collapse transition. The transition effect is fixed and cannot be adjusted through the form builder settings or properties.
If you want a smoother transition effect, it would require custom CSS or JavaScript, but Jotform does not support injecting custom scripts for such behavior directly in forms.
Let me know if you need guidance on other ways to organize your form or use Section Collapse features effectively.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi stormingrobots,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the Section Collapse's animation can't be customize with CSS yet but if you're planning on embedding the form to your website, you may consider downloading its source code, and modifying the animation from there before embedding the codes to your website. If you're not familiar with coding, you may consider hiring a developer to help you with this.
While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
