API: Trigger workflow approval actions

Hi Jotform Support Team,

We are integrating Jotform into our internal leave request system. Submissions are created via Jotform, but our goal is to allow managers to approve or reject requests directly from our custom admin dashboard, without needing to log into Jotform or use email links.

Is there a public API or webhook mechanism we can use to programmatically approve or reject a specific submission within a Jotform Approval Flow?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, it's not yet possible to perform approval actions using API. I've also checked for any other workarounds such as web URL you can use, but they are dynamic and can't be premade.

While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
