Stripe is one option for payment - and is blocking submission?

My Stripe widget is set to not required.

My suggested amount is not zero.

When I preview or try to use the form and select the conditional flow for another payment type, the form errors.

When I remove the suggested amount for Stripe and try again, the form gets to the thank you page.

Why is the suggested amount with Stripe making this page (that users paying with gift certificates won't even see) error out being able to submit the form?

    Hi Oakland_Unwind,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Regarding your issue, the suggested amount set in the Stripe widget can cause submission errors if the form's conditional logic or payment settings conflict with it. Even if the Stripe widget is not required, having a suggested amount may trigger validation or payment processing checks, especially when switching to another payment type conditionally.

To avoid this, you might consider removing the suggested amount or adjusting your conditional logic to ensure the Stripe payment field is completely bypassed when other payment methods are selected. This will prevent the form from trying to process Stripe payments when users choose gift certificates or other options.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
