Hi Orders_Buildway,
To push data from the Total Price for Verification field in your Quonset All in One form to the Total Contract Price field on the Verification letter form, you can use the URL Parameters feature or the Form Prefill method. This allows you to pass data between forms. Here’s how to do it:
- Use the Form Prefill app: Go to the Field Prepopulator app at https://io-apps.jotform.io/prepopulate/ and authorize it to access your forms.
- Select your source form: Choose your Quonset All in One form and continue.
- Set prefill values: Map the Total Price for Verification field to the Total Contract Price field on the target form (Verification letter).
- Generate the prefilled URL: Copy the generated URL and use it to open the target form with the data prefilled.
To do this, I first need to get the unique names of both the source field and target field. Let me show you how to do that:
- In the target form's Form Builder page, click on the target field, and click on the Gear icon to open Properties.
- Go to the Advanced tab, and expand Field Details by clicking the Downward Arrow icon.
- Copy the Unique Name.
The URL parameters should be:
https://form.jotform.com/251525874526968?totalContract={totalPrice}
Now, you need to add this URL to your source forms Thank You Page under Settings. Let's do it:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top part of the page.
- Select Thank You Page from the left-side menu.
- Select Redirect to an external link after submission.
- Enter the given URL parameters above into the Enter URL field.
Another way is to use the Form Prefill feature. Prefilling your form using another form is easy. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
- Now, click on Prefill in the menu on the left side of the page, and then select Form Prefill.
- Click on the Downward Arrow icon and select the form that you want to prefill from, and then match the fields.
- Finally, click on Save Settings on the bottom-right side of the Form Prefill section.
- Click on Add a New Prefill and select a row or the rows you want to be prefilled.
- Then, click on the Create button in the right corner of the page.
- In the Form Prefill settings, click on Can Edit next to the prefill link.
- In the dropdown menu that opens, select Read only, and that's it.

Hi Orders_Buildway,
Since all fields except Total Contract Price are working well, here are some points to check and steps to ensure this field populates correctly:
- Verify Field Mapping: When setting up the Send Form Action Button column, make sure the Total Contract Price field in the target form is correctly mapped to the corresponding column in your table.
- Check Field Compatibility: Confirm that the Total Contract Price field type in the target form matches the data type of the source field. For example, if one is a number field and the other is text, it might cause issues. Make sure that both fields are number fields. Total Price for Verification field is a number field, and Total Contract Price field must be a number field as well. For example, if one is a number field and the other is text, it might cause issues.
- Allow Editing or Prefill Settings: In the Send Form setup, check if the Allow User to Edit Answers option is enabled if you want the recipient to modify the prefilled data. Also, ensure the Prefill Form Fields setting is turned on.
- Test with a Single Entry: Try sending the form for a single entry to see if the data populates correctly. Sometimes bulk sending can have different behavior.
- Review Form Access Settings: Ensure the target form is accessible to recipients, so the prefilled data can be viewed and edited as intended.
If the issue persists, you might want to reconfigure the Send Form button settings or remap the fields to ensure everything is set up properly. Make sure that you are selecting the Verification Letter form and that in the prefill settings, Total Price for Verification is mapped to Total Contract Price field.
In line with this, I tested the Send Form button in the Jotform Table in the Quonset All in One form, and it works the way it was set up. Take a look at the screenshot below:
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
