We are continuing to have problems submitting form that is intergraded with square. I can not duplicate the problems yet we still get endless please wait complaints from customers. I have cleared cache and have had customers try a private browsers and different browsers however, this problem seems to be reoccurring. I have this payment page linked to and event registration page. After filling out and submitting event registration page, i have them redirected to the event confirmation and payment page. What can we do to fix this issue? I have went as far as cloning the payment page and creating a new link. please advise

Hi Hudson,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Regarding the issue with your Square payment form showing endless "please wait" messages after redirecting from the event registration page, this can sometimes be caused by integration or browser settings.
Here’s how to troubleshoot and potentially fix it:
- Check your Square integration settings: Ensure your Square account is properly connected and that the business location is correctly selected in the payment settings.
- Verify browser settings: Make sure pop-ups and redirects are allowed for Jotform, as blocking these can cause loading issues.
- Test the payment form in different environments: Try using incognito/private browsing modes or different devices to see if the issue persists.
- Recreate the payment integration: Since you already cloned the payment page, double-check the payment integration by disconnecting and reconnecting your Square account to refresh the connection.
If the problem continues, it might be related to Square account verification or payment authorization settings, so reviewing those in your Square Dashboard could help.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Hudson,
Since the previous steps didn’t resolve the issue, please check the following:
- Ensure your Square account is fully activated and verified in the Square Dashboard, including completing identity verification.
- Verify that the correct business location is selected in your Square integration settings.
- Disconnect and reconnect the Square payment integration in your form to refresh the connection.
- Confirm that your payment mode (Sandbox or Live) matches your Square account status.
If these are all set correctly, the issue might be related to Square’s account or payment authorization settings.
Let us know if you need further assistance.

please explain step 4
-
Podo: Support AI AgentReplied on June 1, 2025 at 9:18 AM
Hi Hudson,
Step 4 means you should check if your form’s Square payment integration is set to Sandbox (test mode) or Live (real payments). Make sure it matches your Square account status. If your Square account is live, your form should also be set to Live mode to process real payments. Using Sandbox mode with a live account, or vice versa, can cause payment issues.

Hi HRAD,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand you've also reported this issue in the other threads you posted. One suggestion is to try disconnecting the integration and then reconnecting it with your Square account. Usually, if we remove the Square integration and then set it up again, it starts working properly. First, let me show you how to do remove connection:
- In Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
- Under the Payments tab, click on Square and select Payment Settings.
- In the menu on the right, click on the Gear icon at the top right corner.
- Click on Connected, and then click on Reconnect.
- While in the Square Integration menu, click on Connect.
- In the window that pops-up, sign in to your Square account.
- Once you sign in, click on Continue at the bottom right of the menu.

Hi HRAD,
Based on the screenshot you provided on the other thread, the form is embedded to your website. Is the issue happening on the embedded form only? If yes, I recommend embedding your form using its iFrame code instead. Let me show you where to find the code:
- In Form Builder, click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top part of the page.
- Select Embed from the menu on the left, and select iFrame.
- Click on the Copy Code button.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

The payment form is linked with a URL redirection after hitting submit on our event registration page. The registration page is the one embedded. should this be the page that is linked with that embed code. We do not have the competitor payment page embedded. Just the registration page

the payment page is only viewed after submitting the registration page with a direct URL link via conditional formatting. please check workflow on docs to make sure all settings are correct.

Something else that i have noticed. I have the event entry form conditioned to redirect to different payment pages based on the condition of there membership status. We do not seem to have any issues with the NON members payment page. just our members payment page

Hi HRAD,
Thanks for the clarification regarding your setup. Since only the event registration page is embedded on your website and the payment page is accessed via URL redirection after submission, the iframe embed code recommendation applies specifically to the embedded registration page.
Here’s what you should consider:
- Embed the registration page using the iframe code: This can help avoid issues related to script conflicts or loading problems that sometimes occur with other embed methods.
- Keep the payment page as a separate URL: Since the payment page is not embedded but accessed via redirection, it does not need to be embedded with iframe.
- Ensure the redirection URL is correct: Double-check that the registration form’s submission settings redirect users accurately to the payment page URL.
- Test the entire flow: After embedding the registration page with the iframe code and confirming the redirection URL, test the full process from registration to payment to see if the issue persists.
Using the iframe embed for the registration page often resolves issues with embedded forms getting stuck or showing endless loading messages, especially when combined with payment integrations.
I checked the registration form, and you are using the action buttons in the thank you page to redirect the user to fill out another form. At the same time, you also have a redirect URL to redirect the user to another page. There are also conditions set up on the form to redirect the user to the payment form. Which of the conditions are not working?
Give this a try and let us know how it goes.

We are using the question Membership status to see which page to redirect to. If they are a member they get directed to the competitor members pricing page. If they are not then they get directed to the non members pricing. so its 2 different pages. depending on level of membership. The users seem to have problems after hitting submit. we get the please wait. I doesn't always redirect.
When we get to the payment pages the competitors page hangs up sometimes however the non members page does not

I will have my webmaster link form via Iframe and see if problem persists. this is the only thing left. This may explain why I can test page and it works directly via jotforms direct access but our customers are having issues.

Hi HRAD,
I’ll need a bit of time to look into this. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

Hi HRAD,
Since the issue only occurs on the website where the form is embedded, try embedding the form using the iFrame method and see if the problem persists. Embedding with iFrame often helps avoid script conflicts that can cause forms to get stuck.
If the issue continues after embedding with iFrame, you need to provide a console report from the browser when the problem occurs. This will help us diagnose the root cause more effectively.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
