Hi procrewpainting,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you can take a screenshot of what’s happening, that'll help us to understand better what’s going on and help you resolve the issue. Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Help Center:
1. On the Help Center page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.
2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.
3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.
4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag it inward.
5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.

Hi procrewpainting,
I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screenshot below to see my results:
Does the issue occur with other submitted information on your form? If not, it is possible that this is an isolated issue or intentional names submitted by the user themselves. You can try conducting more tests on your form, observe how it goes, and reach out to us if it continues to happen.
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

I assumed these were just scam messages, and they might be but in general we recieve quite a few quote requests through this and in the past several months I’ve had almost exclusively these type.
I also tested it and it came through with my test. -

Hi procrewpainting,
Unfortunately, filtering spam submissions is hard to do when your form is public. However, there are ways to minimize these instances. One way is by adding captchas to avoid spam submissions from the same address. You can easily add a Math CAPTCHA to your form, requiring anyone filling it out to solve a simple math problem generated by the widget before submitting. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the page.
- Under the Widgets tab, enter Match CAPTCHA in the search bar, and drag and drop the widget to your form.

Problem with encrypted looking information persists.
hi I added a math captcha portion to try to eliminate scammers as suggested and today I get another one.
i feel like this is a problem with jotform or my settings and not simply scam emails.
screen shot of a quote request today is attached

Hi procrewpainting,
I cloned and tested your form to replicate the issue, but I wasn't able to replicate it. Check out the screenshot below:
Since we are not able to replicate the issue using the cloned version of your form, would you allow us to submit your live form to help us investigate the issue? Also, we need to access your account. Don't worry, you can disable that again after we're done checking things out. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In the upper-right corner of your My Forms page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image icon.
2. In the small window that opens, click on Settings.
3. In the panel on the left, click on the Security tab.
4. Then, on the bottom-right side of the page, toggle Jotform Support Access to the On position.
After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

Hi procrewpainting,
My colleague is asking if it's okay to fill out your form and then submit a test submission. Also, the Jotform Support access is not yet enabled in your account. But based on your last screenshot, there's no response on the Math Challenge field, this means that it's not set as required. They can skip it, navigate to the next card and submit their response. Make it required instead, this helps prevent bot response, let me show you how:
1. On the Form Builder page, click on the Math Challenge field to select.
2. Click on the Properties icon to open the Question Properties.
3. On the Question Properties, under the General tab, click on the Required dropdown menu, and select Yes.
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

Oh darn. I assumed it would be required once I added it to the form.
I should try that first.
thanks
