Allow user to type in their name in the signature field

    we are using the jotform signature feature on our newest form titled LPI Home Insurance Application. i don't like the use of the mouse like a pen for the signature. is there another electronic signature widget we can use which allows an applicant to type in their name instead? if yes, which one(s)? plz reply asap.

    Hi Max,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The regular Signature field that we have in the form builder only allow users to draw their signature; however, you can add the Fill In The Blank element and add a Signature field. Doing so will give the users the option to either type or draw their signature. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Add Form Element on the top left of the page.
    2. Under the Basic tab, scroll down and drag and drop Fill in the Blank.
    3. Then click Add field, and select Signature.
    4. Remove the other fields that you don't need. Allow user to type in their name in the signature field Image 1 Screenshot 30
