How come my confirmations read the old year and not 2025?

    Hi,

I have cloned a form that was used in 2024 for use this year. I was able to edit the form to read 2025, but when I receive a confirmation of an online form that was completed, the title still shows the old year of 2024, not the new year of 2025. How do I edit that, please?

    Thank you,

    Kathy Walbert

    Hi Kathy,

Thank you for your message. The year displayed in your confirmation emails is controlled by the email template settings in your form.

To update it, please go to your form's Settings tab, then select Emails. Edit the confirmation email template and update the year in the email content or subject line to 2025. Save the changes, and future confirmations will show the correct year.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Hi Kathy,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form and see that the email still has 2024 year. You can easily change the subject and title of your confirmation email. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

    2. Click on Emails in the menu on the left side of the page.

    3. Hover your mouse on the email and then click on the Pencil icon.

    4. Under the Email tab, modify the Email Subject.

    5. Modify the email title.

    6. Click on Save button once done.
