Jotform: Overlimit Message

    Good afternoon,

My account currently says that "You have reached upload space limit." despite the fact that I do not have any submissions currently on any of the forms. Will I be able to accept new submissions or is there something that I need to do in order to clear out room to accept new submissions?

    Thank you in advance,

    Tyler Wiernusz

    Hi Tyler,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Your account shows the "upload space limit reached" message because there might be submissions containing uploaded files that are using your storage, even if you don't see any current submissions. To reset your upload space, you will need to delete and purge submissions with uploaded files.

If you believe there are no such submissions, try clearing your form cache by going to your account Avatar at the top right, clicking Settings, and then clicking the Clear Cache button. This can sometimes resolve the issue.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Tyler,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’ve checked your account and found that you’re currently using 320.63 MB of upload space, which exceeds the 100 MB limit allowed under the Free plan. This would restrict the new submissions your form may receive, which is why our system automatically disabled these forms. I suggest deleting the submission data that include uploaded files/images to free up space.

After deleting the submission data, you can easily delete your trashed submissions to delete them forever in Jotform Tables. Let me show you how:

    1. In Jotform Tables, click on the Three Dots icon next to your form title in the tabs.
    2. In the dropdown menu, click on Trashed Entries to open the Trash menu.
    3. Then, in the Trash menu on the right, click on the Checkboxes to select the submissions you want to purge. To select all, click on the Select All button.
    4. Now, click on Delete Forever, and in the warning window, click on the Delete button to confirm.

Jotform: Overlimit Message Image 1 Screenshot 20 To avoid permanently losing submission data, it’s recommended to Download Form Submissions as Excel, CSV, or PDF. Purging deleted submissions will free up your Submission Storage and Upload Space but won’t affect other limits. You can also check out our guide about Account Usage and Limits for more information.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
