Best Way to Generate Submission PDF Matching My Form Design

Hi, I would like to ask if there is a way to export or download a PDF version of a form submission that matches the original layout and design of my form.Currently, when I download the submission PDF, it looks very different and plain compared to my original form design, which includes a custom header, bilingual labels, and a structured layout.

Ideally, I would like the downloaded PDF file to match the format and layout of my designed application form, either visually or structurally.

What would be the best approach to achieve this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi shuaiceng77,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Jotform makes it easy to integrate your PDF files using Smart PDF Forms. This way, you will be able to download your original PDF with the data filled out by the users. Let me walk you through it:

    1. On your My Forms page, click on Create Form on the top-left side of the page.

    2. Choose Import Form and then Import PDF Form.

    3. Now, upload your PDF file.

    4. Add the necessary fields and customize them using the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.

Sometimes, the fields that are automatically created in the PDF file will be in the wrong place. If that happens, you'll have to move and resize the fields. Check out the screencast below to see how to do that:

That's it. The final preview will look like the one below:
