I've set up the interior painting price ranges under rooms to be painted and created a calculator. I need the calculator result to display a dash between the 2 values plus the dollar sign. Can you help?

Hi Pietrafese,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To help you display a dash between the two values along with the dollar sign in your calculator result, could you confirm if you have already set up any calculation in the Form Calculation widget? If not, you will need to create a formula that concatenates the dollar signs and the dash between the two values. For example, your calculation formula inside the widget could look like this:
"$" + {Value1} + " - " + "$" + {Value2}
This will display the two values with dollar signs and a dash between them. If you have already set up calculations but are not seeing the desired output, share more details of your current setup so we can assist you further.
Looking forward to your response.

Hey, please see my settings and result in the screenshot below.
Hi there, thanks for helping me. You can see my value is set to $300 - $400 for my first selection (house exterior) and $200 - $400 for my section selection (Decks)... the calculation value should be $500 - $800... not $300600
What am I doing wrong? Yvonne

Hi podschool,
I've checked it out, and unfortunately, it's not possible to send a range calculation value. The calculation value must be a fixed number. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
Reach out again if you need any other help.
