Hi Pookies PetAcademy,
I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
To get your PayPal payment option working on your form, please make sure you are using the correct PayPal integration. Jotform supports PayPal Business and PayPal Standard integrations, but PayPal Express and PayPal Invoicing are no longer available for new users.
Here’s how to set up PayPal Business integration:
- In Form Builder, click Add Element on the left side.
- Under Payments tab, select PayPal to add it to your form.
- Connect your PayPal Business account by logging in when prompted.
- Select your payment type (Sell Products, User-Defined Amount, or Collect Donations) and currency.
- Configure any additional settings as needed, then save your form.
If you want to test the integration, enable Test Mode to use your PayPal Sandbox account.
Make sure your PayPal account is a Business account, as this is required for integration.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi pookiespetacademy,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screenshot below to see my results:
If you're having trouble adding the PayPal payment option, here’s how you can set it up:
- Click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the Form Builder page.
- Under the Payments tab, choose one of the PayPal options.
- In the panel on the right side of the page, click on Connect. This will take you to the PayPal page.
- Now, enter all of the necessary information and connect your PayPal account with your form. That's it. You're done.
If you'd like more information about the payment limits, check out Jotform's Pricing page. If you’re still running into issues, let us know which PayPal option you’re trying to use and whether you’re seeing any error messages. This will help us better understand what’s going wrong and provide a workaround if possible.
Give it a try and reach out again if you need any other help.

Hi pookiespetacademy,
Can you share with us a screen recording of what’s happening so we can try to replicate it on our end? You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

pookiespetacademyReplied on May 24, 2025 at 10:40 AMNo I can't screen record on my device. I literally showed you the
screenshots of what's happening, just disconnect my paypal so I can put in
a different account. That's probably the problem

Hi pookiespetacademy,
I checked out your form and saw that the PayPal field isn't connected yet. Check out my screencast below for my results:
You can try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, then log back into your Jotform account. Before connecting the PayPal field on your form, open a new tab in the same browser and log into your PayPal account there first. Once you’re logged in, go back to your form and try connecting the PayPal field again. This has happened to me before, and doing this usually fixes the issue.
Also, if you're replying to this support thread by email and include images by pasting or attaching them, they might not show up on our end. So in case you tried my suggestion above and the issue's still there, you can take a screenshot of what’s happening. That will help us to understand better what’s going on and find a solution. Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Help Center:
1. On the Help Center page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.
2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.
3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.
4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag inward.
5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.
