Monthly Total Submissions Question

Hello, I am looking to better understand where Jotform is pulling Monthly Usage Submissions data. For the month of May as of today, this value is saying it is at 89 of 100 used. But, when checking actual submission data across our 5 active forms, the number should actually be much less.

Can Jotform support please explain where the extra submissions are being counted from to total 89 for the month of May? Our most used form (titled SmartCare Activation) has only seen 27 responses so far in May (screenshot below) which is nowhere near 89 responses. In addition to this, our 4 other forms and their submissions would not add up to make it reach 89 for May.

Thank you for your help to understand this.

    Hello,

I understand your concern regarding the discrepancy in your monthly submissions count.

The monthly submission limit encompasses all submissions received across all your forms within the current month. This includes not only live submission but also test submissions you or your team have made during form setup or testing phases. Each time a form is submitted it counts toward your monthly submission quota. Here are some suggestions:

    1. Consider Test Submissions: Reflect on any testing activities that may have involved submitting forms, as these are included in the submission count.
    2. Check for Deleted Forms: If you've deleted any forms after they received submissions, those submissions still count toward your monthly limit.

Let me know if I can help with anything else. Thank you!

Our forms do not contain test submissions and our deleted forms have been purged completely. I would appreciate further explanation as to why our total monthly submissions are not accurate.

    Hi hburns85,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. A submission is counted when an entry is successfully created from your forms. You can cross check the total amount of submissions to all of your forms via Tables as its more accurate. You can View Your Form Submissions on the Jotform Tables page in just a few easy steps. Let me show you how:

    1. On your My Workspace page, choose your form and click on Submissions at the top of the page.
    2. Now, on the left side of your Jotform Submissions Table, you'll see a list of all of your submissions.

The monthly submission limit is a fixed quota that tracks the number of submissions you received within a month, and it resets automatically on the first day of each cycle. Therefore, even if you delete submissions, the count remains unchanged until the reset date.

If you're nearing your monthly submission limit and need to accommodate more submissions before the reset date, you can either wait for your monthly usage to reset or upgrade to increase your account limits. We also have a guide here that you can check out to learn more about Understanding Your Account Usage and Limits.
