Too expensive and unfair to have to pay €29 euros a month to have more than 10 sign a consent form

    Hi,

I really enjoy your service offering. I used it recently to provide a consent form to my non profit group of workshop facilitators in Canada.

However, to my surprise, it was impossible to have more than 10 signatures to the form.

This was particularly hidden from me. Your free account states " 100 submissions", which one could undestand as 100 signatures.

To be told, after investing time in your tool, that only 10 signatures are possible is a bit deceiving in my view. Then , I am only shown prices in Euros, just because I am curently in France - returning next week to Canada, and have NO OPTION to change that manually. How silly. But to be charged 29 € a month to be able to gather more than 10 signatures to a charter of members for a non profit is out of my league - and out of many online offerings. Best'

    Hi Caroline,

Thanks for sharing your experience with Jotform. I understand your concerns about the submission limits and pricing, especially for your nonprofit group.

To clarify, the free Starter plan allows up to 100 monthly submissions overall, but when using the Jotform Sign feature for legally binding signatures, the limit is 10 signed documents per month on the free plan. This is why you encountered the 10-signature limit on your consent form.

Regarding pricing, the €29 monthly fee corresponds to the Bronze plan, which increases your signed document limit to 100 per month, along with other enhanced features. Pricing is shown in Euros based on your current location, and unfortunately, there is no manual option to change the displayed currency. However, once you return to Canada, pricing should reflect your local currency.

We appreciate your feedback about the clarity of these limits and pricing, especially for nonprofit users. If your needs exceed the free plan limits, upgrading to a paid plan is necessary to access more signatures and additional features.

If you want to explore options to increase your limits or learn more about pricing plans, you can visit the Jotform Pricing page.
