Sending a Completed Leave Form for Employee Signature Without Edits

I want my managers to be able to use a leave form template that they can fill in on behalf of an employee. (I don't want them to have to go into the settings and use the prefill options. I need to keep it extremely simple for them to do). Once they hit submit, that form then gets sent to the employee it was filled in on behalf of. The employee is then able to sign it without changing the form details.

The leave form template I have made is attached and it links to SmartPDF. I would like to be able to retain this if possible.

    Hi Javari,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Currently, we don’t have a built-in way to guarantee that form data remains uneditable once it’s sent for signature. The Autoresponder Email with an Edit Link does allow the recipient to make changes, so unfortunately, there isn’t a way to lock the form while still letting the employee sign.

One possible workaround is to provide the employee with a PDF version of the completed form and utilize an external e-signature tool for signing. This ensures the document remains unchanged while allowing them to add their signature securely.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
