I can't figure out why these fields won't 'disable' and have spent a few hours trying. Can you please revierw my conditions to see if you can sort it out?

    Hi Robert,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, and I ran into the same issue. When I looked at your form, I saw that the issue is caused by a conflict in one of your conditional logic, which prevents the fields from being disabled properly. Let me show you how to fix it:

    1. In your Form Builder, select the Approval Status field and click the Conditional Logic icon.
    2. In the Conditions tab, scroll down to your condition #9 and Disable it. Conditional Logic: Fields are not disabled Image 1 Screenshot 60
    3. Now, scroll up to your condition#4 and click the Pencil icon. Conditional Logic: Fields are not disabled Image 2 Screenshot 71
    4. Update the condition like you see below and click on Save. Conditional Logic: Fields are not disabled Image 3 Screenshot 82

That's it. Test your form, and you’ll see that the specified fields are now correctly disabled if the Approval Status field is equal to Landstar Signing. Check out the screencast below for the result:

That is helpful but the one I was struggling with was ensuring the fields were disabled for the approver. The customer signs first, then the approver - Landstar Signing.

Currently, the form has the fields locked when the Approval Status = Landstar Signing but it also has the Landstar signature block disabled and the Customer block ENABLED and that needs to swap. The Landstar needs to be ENABLED and the Customer needs to be DISABLED.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I understand you are trying to get the behavior where the Customer signature field is disabled and the Landstar signature field is enabled when the approval status is set to "Landstar Signing", you'll need to adjust your conditional logic settings.

    Here's how:

    1. Disable the Customer Signature Field: IF Approval Status Equals "Landstar Signing". DO Disable Customer Signature Field
    2. Enable the Landstar Signature Field: IF Approval Status EQUALS "Landstar Signing" DO enable Landstar Signature Field

Also, please make sure you don't have any conflicting conditions that might override these settings.

    Thank you!

UH - Yeah, I have done this - what I need to know is why isn't it working. Please look at my conditions.

    Hi Robert,

I checked your form but didn’t see the specific conditional logic you mentioned. As a workaround, I cloned your form and adjusted the conditions to properly disable the fields based on your intended setup. Check out the screencast below for the result:

Conditional Logic: Fields are not disabled Image 1 Screenshot 20 Due to the complexity of the conditions, I recommend checking out my demo form for reference. This guide will show you how to clone the form and make it your starting one.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I haven't even been able to launch this form and we have used up all our submissions? It has all been from testing. Please clear my limit so I can get this tested and working. I was able to check links this morning and haven't sent another form and now suddenly, I can no longer check links from my emails. If you want happy customers, you need to fix this. My client is going to sign up but not until he sees it working.
I build in client accounts because your "transfer form" doesn't work - it doesn't transfer anything that has been configured like .pdfs or emails.

Please let me know when this has been taken care of so I can make sure this works.

    Thank you,

    A frustrated Jotform Builder

    Hi Robert,

Since your new questions are related to another topic, I've moved them to another thread to avoid confusion. You can check about the overlimit monthly submission here and the issue of transferring forms here.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.
