I have tried connecting my PayPal several time, through different browsers, and every time it says it is all set but then when I return to the form it is not connected. I've tried reloading the page as well.

Hi Bethany,
I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
It seems like your PayPal connection shows as connected but doesn't stay connected on your form. This can happen if the reusable payment connection isn't properly saved or applied.
Let me help you with that:
- In Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side.
- Under Payments tab, add PayPal Standard to your form.
- In Payment Properties, click the plug icon to open the PayPal Standard Connection window.
- Select Test or Live Mode, enter a connection name and your PayPal email, then click Connect.
- After successful connection, click Save and then select your PayPal connection and click Use.
- Configure your payment type and currency, then save your form.
This process ensures your PayPal connection is properly saved and applied to your form. Also, try clearing your browser cache or using a private window to avoid cached data issues.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Best regards,
Bethany -

Hi Bethany,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked out your form and can confirm that there's no payment connection yet. Check out the screenshot below for my results:
It's easy to add a PayPal Integration to your form. Let me walk you through it:
- Open your form in Form Builder, then click on the Credit Card icon on the right side of the page to open Payment Properties.
- In the Payment Properties menu, click on the Plug icon to start connecting with your PayPal account.
- In the window that opens, you’ll see a list of your existing payment connections. If you connected your PayPal account recently, it should appear here.
- Click on the Payment Connection you want to use. Or, if you’d like to connect a different PayPal account, click Add New Connection and follow the prompts to complete the setup.
And that's it. If you'd like to learn more about Payment Connections, check our page on How to Add and Manage Reusable Payment Connections.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any more help.

ready to get paid!" and I got back to Jotform, there's still no connection
listed.

lanternlightcreationsredbubbleReplied on May 21, 2025 at 7:40 PMI had to connect other methods first, and then it finally worked. Don't
know why but at least it's resolved. Thank you!
