Hi Oscar,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our Spanish Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Spanish, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question, prefilling your form using another form is easy. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
- Now, click on Prefill in the menu on the left side of the page, and then select Form Prefill.
- Click on the Downward Arrow icon and select the form that you want to prefill from, and then match the fields.
- Finally, click on Save Settings on the bottom-right side of the Form Prefill section.
- Click on Add a New Prefill and select a row or the rows you want to be prefilled.
- Then, click on the Create button in the right corner of the page.
- In the Form Prefill settings, click on Can Edit next to the prefill link.
- In the dropdown menu that opens, select Read only, and that's it.

Hi Oscar,
Unfortunately, the prefill feature in Jotform works by generating a URL by default. As an alternative, you might consider using the Spreadsheet to Form widget, which allows you to automatically populate fields in your second form using data from a CSV or Excel file.
To set this up, you'll need to download the submission data from your first form as a CSV or Excel file. Then, upload it into the widget on the second form. Keep in mind that the column headers in your file must exactly match the field labels in the second form for the data to populate correctly. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the page.
2. Click on the Widgets tab, then search for Spreadsheet to Form and add it to your second form field.
3. Click on the Upload File button and upload your downloaded Excel file with submission data from the other form.
4. Click on the Access Code Column dropdown button and select the column header to use to populate the fields.
5. Click on Settings in the orange navigation bar on the top, then click on Conditions on the left-side menu and choose Update/Calculate Field.
6. Create a similar condition to the screenshot below and click on the Save button once done.
7. Now click on the Wand icon beside the widget and scroll to Autofill By Condition, then choose Yes and select Yes under the Run in the Background dropdown.
Here's the sample result:
You can check out our guides on How to Download Form Submissions as Excel, CSV, or PDF and How to Use the Spreadsheet to Form Widget.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Oscar,
Yes, you will need to re-upload the Excel file on the Spreadsheet to form widget every time you will update it. You might consider Prepopulating Form Fields via URL Parameters. Or, you can also to check out this guide about How to Automatically Pass Form Data to Another Form.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
