Hi ppib2775,
Thanks for reaching out to us for help. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but the edit link appeared properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:
I also checked the email templates on your form, but wasn’t able to locate the one shown in your screenshot. If the issue persists, could you clarify which specific email you’re referring to? Additionally, let me know if it’s an autoresponder or a notification email.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Right - because as i said in the previous note, I was using {edit_link} to continue other testing. Please go back and review my first message. The link I want to use is:
https://form.jotform.com/edit/%7Bid%7D?role=approver

Hi ppib2775,
I cloned your form and attempted to recreate the issue.
First, I filled out the form and received the first email that is sent after form submission. This email is called "Notification To Approver 1". The Edit Submission link is showing up fine and it also allows me to edit the previously submitted form successfully.
However, you do have a second email, which I believe you're referring to in your original post. This email is sent when the form is edited called "Notification 2". The links do not show up within this email since I am not seeing the {edit_link} portion within that email template. So, I would recommend adding {edit_link} where it says "click here" within the Notification 2 email template shown below.
Please bear in mind the above works if you would like to edit the submission using a link.
If you would like someone else to be able to edit the submission, please try adding this to your link: https://www.jotform.com/edit/<submission ID>
You just need the URL (https://www.jotform.com/edit/) and the (<submission ID> will be specific for each user).
The submission ID can be found on the Submissions page. Here's how you can find the submission ID: https://www.jotform.com/help/549-Where-to-Find-the-Submission-ID
Please let us know if this resolves your issue.

Why, why don't you all read the ENTIRE THREAD?
This is the link i need to use that wasn't working:
https://form.jotform.com/edit/%7Bid%7D?role=approver
Tell me how to make it work.

Hi Ken,
Is this link to edit any submission in particular? It seems that there's a submission ID missing in the URL. Can you tell us how you've been using this URL and how you've been receiving it?
As for your other question about the Edit link in the Notification email, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.
After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

I don't need a new thread. Yes, as I said at the beginning, this is the link I want to use. I want to put it in my notification email. No, it is a general link that will be put in th eemail and populate the id with the submission Id.

Hi Ken,
When I cloned and tested your form, everything worked the way it was supposed to. I tried to include the link that you want to use in the email content, and I was able to edit the form. Check out the screencast below to see my results:
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I included my link and it still doesn't work. I don't want a raw url in the email, I added it as a text link which should work fine, but does not work at all.

Hi Ken,
Since we can't replicate the issue from our side, can you get the Console Report of the browser when you see the pop-up warning message? We have this guide on how to get the Console Log. After that, take a screenshot and share it here.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

SOLVED:
It is because it says "form.jotform. . . " and not "www.jotform"
