Hello,
I’m receiving the message: “You have reached the monthly signed documents limit.”
The AI chatbot mentioned that the limit would reset on the first day of the month, but unfortunately, this has not happened.
Could you please look into this?
Thank you and best regards,
Aline Arndt

Hi Aline,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand you’re seeing the message, You have reached the monthly signed documents limit, even though it’s already the new month. I checked your account and confirmed that you’ve reached your monthly limit with 10 out of 10 signed documents used.
The signed document limit resets on the first day of each month. However, in some cases, it may take a short while for the system to reflect the reset. Also, note that deleting signed documents does not affect your usage count for the month.
If the limit still hasn’t refreshed by the end of the day, let us know, and we’ll be happy to escalate this to our relevant team for further investigation. You can view your current usage and limits anytime through your Usage page. If you frequently reach the limit, upgrading your plan can increase your monthly allowance.
Reach out again if you need any other help.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. However, the new month has already started in fact, it’s been more than a week now and the signed documents are still not reset. They remain unavailable.
Could you please look into this again and let me know when the limit will be refreshed?
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Aline

Hi Aline,
I've checked your account, and it appears that your monthly reset limit is every 9th of the month at 12 AM EST Time. You may need to wait for a few hours for your monthly usage to reset. If you'll be needing more than 10 monthly signed document, I suggest upgrading your account. You can also disable the Jotform Sign Automation. When you disable this, the signature you'll collect doesn't count to the monthly signed documents. But, it will not let you have the following features:
- It will not automatically turn your signed submissions into PDF documents.
- You will not receive an audit trail for each signed document.
- It will enable submission editing.
- It will not require form fillers to give consent for their signatures.
Let me show you how to do this:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Select Jotform Sign from the left side window.
- Toggle Enable Jotform Sign Automation to turn it Off.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
