Pull Last Name Out of Full Name field

I have been trying to pull the last name out of the Full Name field into a field calculation field but cannot get it to work. Can someone help me with this.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can easily get the last name on the Full Name element by using the Substring widget. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click on Full Name element then go to its Properties.
2. Go to Advanced tab, scroll down to Field Details and copy the field ID for the last name.
3. Then, click on Add Element then go to Widgets tab and add a Substring widget to your form, paste the field ID we copied and set the Substring start and end to 0 and 100, respectively.
