Hello, I need to transfer 2 forms and a workflow to another account. How do I do that so that it doesn't mess up the conditional logic that I set for the form and the workflow I have set up?

Hi ashlisjobs,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Moving your forms to another Jotform account is easy. Just keep in mind that all submission data will be transferred along with the form. Let me show you how to do it:
1. On your My Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image in the top-right corner of the screen.
2. In the window that opens, click on Settings.
3. Then, click on the Data tab on the left.
4. In the Transfer Form section, click on Transfer Form.
5. Next, enter the Authentication Code that is sent to your email address, and click on Verify.
6. In the window that opens, tick the box next to the name of the form you want to transfer.
7. In the New Email Owner’s Email Address field, enter the email address of the account that you want the forms to be transferred to.
8. Now, click on Transfer Form.
Keep in mind that you can only send one form transfer at a time. You can also cancel the current transfer request. Let me show you how:
1. While you are still on the Data page, click on the View Details button in the Pending Transfer section.
2. Then, click on Cancel Request.
3. Finally, click on Yes, Cancel.
Once the forms are transferred, the owner of the account receiving the forms will get an email notification. From that email, they can click on the View Transfer button, then click on Accept to complete the transfer. Check out the screencast below:
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

So I would have to build everything over? How does this affect the conditional logic settings that have with the form? For example I have it set to send out and automatic email based off their answer to certain questions. What happens to that and the email that I created, does the email stay intact. Or do I have to recreate it?

Hi Ashli,
Regarding your question about transferring forms and workflows to another account and how it affects conditional logic and email settings. No, you don’t necessarily have to rebuild everything from scratch in JotForm it depends on what exactly you’re changing (e.g., switching integrations, duplicating a form, or modifying the layout).
As for conditional logic and autoresponder emails:
- Conditional logic rules you've already set up will remain intact as long as the form fields they rely on are not deleted or renamed.
- Autoresponder or notification emails will also stay intact, including the custom content you've created, unless the associated fields or conditions are changed or removed.
- If you duplicate or clone the form, JotForm typically retains both your logic and email templates, though it's always a good idea to double-check them afterward.
However if the conditional logic and email notifications you have set up in the form, these will not be transferred intact if they are part of workflows or integrations connected to the form. You will likely need to recreate the workflow and reconfigure the email notifications in the new account after the transfer.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Ok thank you, so before I transfer the form duplicate it within the original account and then transfer it?

Hi Ashli,
Since it is not possible to transfer a form with workflow to another account, it is better to duplicate the form, delete and purge the Workflow, and then transfer it to the other account so that it is easier for you to rebuild the Workflow on the other account since you have a copy of the Workflow on the original form on your account. Here's how to delete a Workflow:
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
2. Click on Workflows on the left side of the screen.
3. Hover your cursor over the Workflow and click on the Gear icon.
4. Click on Delete.
5. Hover your cursor over the Workflow and click on the Gear icon.
6. Click on Purge.
7. Click on Confirm.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
