Hi -- I am trying mightily to adapt the donation app for a charitable wing of a non-profit organization.
(1) However, after making a donation, jotform generates two separate emails, both with the jotform logo prominantly on top. Worse, one of the email acknowledgements shows "jotforms" as the sender.
(2) I believe I correctly unclick (or clicked) the option to remove the jotform logo. But apparently the donation app didn't get the memo. Can this be fixed? Also, I would like to customize the text on the splashscreen and email acknowledgement. But, unlike forms, there does not appear to be a way to do this.
(3) I understand that this is an App, not a "form" but the default app header design and functions really are not appropriate for embedding the form in a landing page or website. Can the header be turned off (including returning to the 'home' screen and login)?
Thanks,
Mel

Hi Mel,
Thanks for reaching out to us for help with your Jotform donation app issues. Let me walk you through the solutions for each of your concerns:
The donation app sends two separate emails by default, which both include the Jotform branding prominently. One of these emails may show Jotform as the sender. This is standard behavior for the app's email notifications. To remove the Jotform branding, you need to have a paid subscription. After upgrading, you can turn off the branding by going to your Account Settings and disabling the Show Powered by Jotform?. However, the donation app may not fully reflect this change immediately. Also, currently, the donation app does not provide an option to customize the splash screen or the email acknowledgement text as easily as forms do.
Since the donation app is an app and not a standard form, the default header with home screen and login cannot be turned off or customized for embedding purposes. The app's design and functions are fixed in this regard. While these limitations exist, you can consider creating a custom form with donation elements if you need more control over branding and customization.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Andreas -- Thank you for your prompt reply. I do have a paid plan, and I turned off "poweredby jotforms" as soon as we upgraded some months ago. [We are not, however, at the Enterprise level as that would be overkill for the needs of our small non-profit.]
I have no problems designing a form with the elements contained in the donation app by default. It would be a learning curve -- how to integrate fixed price items with an open "custom payment" field. Am not aware of a widget that keeps track of donations, or the ability of a contributor to check on past contributions. Which is why the donation app is so darned attractive. I believe it was introduced in 2023 (??). Be nice to enhance to the next level but, sigh, that's above my pay grade.
Thanks again,
Mel

Hi Mel,
Thank you for your patience. If I understand it correctly you would like to add a fixed price and custom amount for the donation. If yes, I cloned and tested your form and your able to use the Single Choice element for the fixed price of the donation. Let me show you how you can pass it to the Payment widget for the payment payment:
- On your Form Builder, click on the gear icon on your Single Choice element and change the Calculation Value of Other to blank.
- Instead of Number Field, use a Form Calculation widget to pass the Donation Value to the Payment Field. Add Form Calculation widget and on the Form Calculation Properties, click on Add Field and select the Donation Amount field then click Save. You can also hide this field.
- Finally, on your Payment field, click on the wand icon. Set the Payment Type to User Defined Amount and Get Price From to Calculation field then click Save.
See the screencast below for the result:
