Inventory: Purging Data Does Not Reset Available Slots

That said, I have a new problem. We have been running test submission to catch glitches & issues before we go live with this form. In doing so, we have changed the values in some of the inventory widgets. I have deleted the test submissions, but the values of the widgets have not reset. It has been over 12 hours. Any advice on how to address this? I need a solution today.

    Thanks!

    Hi Virginia,

You can free up the Inventory widget slot by deleting and purging the submission data. Here's how to do it:

    How to delete Submission Data:

    1. In Tables, hover your cursor over the first column of the submission data and click on the checkbox to select the submission data.

    2. On the right side of the screen, click on Delete.

How to purge deleted Submission data:

    1. In Tables, click on the three vertical dots icon beside the Tab name.

    2. Select Trashed entries.

    3. Click on the checkbox beside Select All.

    4. Click on Delete Forever.

Thank you for your response. I have followed these instructions & "deleted forever" the test submissions. The inventory values have NOT reset.

    Hi Virginia,

Could you try the alternative way by increasing Available Quantity on the widget settings? Here's how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Inventory widget to select.

    2. On the right side of the selected Inventory widget, click on the Wand icon.

    3. On the right panel, increase the value under Available Quantity.

    4. Click on Update.

Changing the inventory value settings is my plan ONLY if I can't find another solution by the time we go live tomorrow. I would prefer not to do this, as I know that the inventory settings SHOULD reset (& have previously), which means that they may at some point at which time the inventory widgets that were reset would allow an overage of registrations, which it is crucial that we avoid. Also, if I make changes to the form while it is in use then I have to reset the integration with Google Sheets each time I make a change.

Do you have any other suggestions?

    Hi Virginia,

As of this moment, there is no other workaround available. I have gone ahead and escalated this thread to our Developer Team to check out why the available slot didn't update after deleting and purging the submission data. Once updates are available, we will let you know via this thread.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Fantastic, thank you! I will also continue to check to see if the values reset & alert you if they do.
