Can a user continue a conversation with the AI Agent chatbot after the session has ended?

    Hello,

    As we try to integrate it into our workflow, we notice deficiencies. And that's why I'm writing.

    1- When a message from a WhatsApp number ends, it is not possible to send another message.

    2-

    When the same number sends a new message on a different day, the conversation is ignored and a new chat begins as if it started from scratch.

    Can't he continue from where he left off without forgetting and destroying the past conversation? And can't we send messages after the time has passed?

    Hi zariffilm,

    You've identified a limitation in the current behavior of the AI Agent when used with WhatsApp. It does not support continuing a previous conversation or sending follow-up messages once a session has ended. At present, this functionality is not available in the existing AI Agent setup and cannot be modified through the available AI Agent settings, whether for WhatsApp or any other channels.

    While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
