I just wanted to remind you that I'll be helping you in English using Google Translate because our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, and you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. But, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question, when creating or editing your AI Agent in the builder, just go to the Train tab and you can set the Default Language to French. This ensures your agent starts the conversation and responds in French by default. Let me show you how:
1. In the AI Agent Builder, go to the Train tab in the top navigation bar.
2. In the left-hand menu, select AI Persona. Then scroll down to find the Default Language section and change it to French.
1. Still under AI Persona, scroll down and click the Add New button under the Chat Guidelines section.
2. Enter a new rule, such as Automatically reply in French if the customer responds in French.
