Hi, I’ve tried using your AI feature to make my form anonymous but in my form settings there is no option to make anonymous or hide the IP address either. All the advice by AI helper that I was given was not something I could implement myself. Please help!! I need this done and am at a total loss.

Hi drabtofab,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I was not able to fully understand what you're trying to do, can you explain a bit more about it, so we can help you better? If you're referring to the form filler, then you can simply exclude questions that collect personal information.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Hi Lorenz,
Thanks for your reply! I need to make the form totally anonymous but it still records the IP addresses when the form is submitted. I want it to be zero IP addresses nothing that tells me about who was the form submitted by. The AI feature on Thryv support told me how to get rid of it, but those options were not showing on my form settings.

Hi drabtofab,
Unfortunately, it is not possible to stop recording the IP address for the submissions, however you can hide them from the submission table. You can easily hide your IP address column in Jotform Tables. Let me show you how to do it:
- In Jotform Tables, click on Columns on the upper-left side of the page.
- Left-click and drag the Six Dots icon to rearrange the order of your columns.
Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
