    Hello

I am creating a survey for my degree. I am registered on a free account. I would like to reassure participants using the survey that their responses to my survey are safe. Do participants have to register for an account using their email address? The questions on my survey are general and would not lead to anyone being identified although I do ask gender, age, and education level so would like to assure participants that I will delete their responses when I have finished my current module. Can you confirm this is possible

    Thanks

    Sheila

    Hi Sheila,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand that you're creating a survey for your degree and want to reassure your participants about the safety of their responses. Let me provide you with some relevant information regarding your concerns:

In Jotform, all forms, including those on free accounts, are secured with HTTPS protocol, which ensures that the data transmitted is secure. Participants do not need to register for an account to complete your survey; they can fill out the form anonymously. This is especially important for your survey, as it allows you to collect responses without requiring participants to provide identifiable information.

Regarding your question about deleting responses, you can assure your participants that you can delete their responses once you have completed your current module. It's a good practice to communicate this clearly in your survey to enhance participants' trust.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
