If someone selects a drop down option, I want it to be linked to a cert

If someone selects a drop down option, I want it to be linked to a certain text. The text depends on the option selected. How do I do this? Thanks

This links is not what i'm after sorry.  I don't want to make another field available, I want to to automatically fill out the answer.

eg. Drop down option selected is "Fruit" - automatic text describes what fruit is

2nd Drop down is "Vegetable" - when that is select automatic text describes what Vegetable is.

This is to do with line items and pricing.  Want to put a description of what line item includes.
