Tracking Entries Using QR code

Good day,

This is my situation. I an a health and safety coordinator and I am in charge of getting guys training. I want to set up an electronic document for them to access with a QR code. My question is, is there a way to set up a QR code so I can keep track of who has and who hasn't completed the required training I assigned them ?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, we cannot track submissions directly based on a QR code alone. However, you can assign each individual the form and track their submissions through the Assign Forms feature. Please note that when utilizing this feature, a Jotform account is required so you will be able to track the accounts that have submitted the form.

Thank you for your quick reply. Would everyone I send the sign in form have to have a Jotform account or would I just need to have one?

Hi Frank,

If you use the Assign Form feature to share your form, the recipients will need to create a Jotform account to access and fill it out. If you share your form using its direct link for your form, people can fill it out without needing a Jotform account. Let me show how: 

1. On the Form Builder page, click the Publish tab in the orange navigation menu at the top.
2. To make sure your form is public, click on the Gear icon next to Link to Share in the Quick Share section.
3. If it is public, you can copy the link and send it. That's it!
